Let’s be real: running a business while managing chronic illness, solo parenting, and navigating ADHD and perimenopause? It’s not a walk in the park. That’s why I called my WOW Roadshow talk Coping Strategies for Running a Busy Aesthetics Business While Managing Personal Challenges—because it’s something I live every day.

I didn’t sugar-coat anything. I talked about being “consistently inconsistent,” surviving divorce, lockdown, and how I still gain new patients purely through word of mouth. My secret? Radical honesty and practical systems. I let my patients in (within reason) because people value transparency.
From automating bookings and payments, to hiring a virtual assistant (shoutout to my spreadsheet angel!), I’ve learned that you don’t have to do everything alone. Protect your time. Accept the chaos. And most importantly—be kind to yourself.
I don’t claim to have all the answers. But I’m proud of what I’ve built, wobbles and all. Because being real is what makes this work sustainable—and impactful.
I love working with the team at WOW facial and Kysense as this is my go to product as it is far superior to any other fillers I have ever used and I only want the best for my patients as this makes coping with what I do so much easier. When Claire the CEO of WOW and Kysense was looking for speakers with inspirational or educational content I jumped at the chance to present. I am all for doing what makes me scared and Claire and her team created a really nice, easy atmosphere for me to present in. As always I like to feel the fear and do it anyway.
